The Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design

I’m pleased to announce that the first assessment of my diploma portfolio has been carried out, and I have passed with no further work needed. There is still a second assessment, which is a kind of quality control, but it looks like I will be accrediting next week as planned.

I have learnt a lot over the last nine months, and am glad that I undertook it. I would recommend it to anybody. You do need to have completed a Permaculture Design Course first, but it’s a good way of deepening your understanding ot the principles, tools, and techniques of Permaculture Design. It’s also a great way of connecting with other people doing great work.

My Permaculture Diploma designs are all available to see as pages that can be accessed via the tabs at the top of the page. This accesses a drop down menu, two levels deep. Please feel free to browse them. Be warned that they are a bit long, and very detailed. Not ideal if you have a short attention span. I answer all non spam comments.

The focus for me now is going to be my own research projects, and research by the Permaculture Association. I do have another project, but will wait until after the National Diploma gathering to reveal it.

One of the drawbacks of doing the Diploma in Applied Permaculture Design has been that I have spent less time maintaining this blog. That should change soon. Luckily that doesn’t seem to have reduced the traffic to the blog, which has continued to grow. Hopefully that will continue for some time.

Take care

Deano
